Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she is responsible for covering everything from NASA as well as the new Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent to space tourism. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years she's covered space policies under Biden and Trump administrations on FOX News. During that time, she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign, and two administration's efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Her extensive travels with the Vice President and the President included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan that she made with Donald Trump. Prior to being hired by the channel in, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for corporate clients such as Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter live in Washington, D.C.
